EASTER AT THE RIVER
In the coming week, we at the River are planning multiple opportunities for you to interact with the whole story of the resurrection hope we know in Christ. Each service engages with a different part of the story and gives us different types of opportunities to meditate on and remember the story of Jesus.

Before Christ was arrested, he ate the Passover Feast with his disciples and enacted a new understanding of how we remember his sacrifice for our sin. We will share a meal together, seek space to remember Christ’s life, fellowship around the Communion Table, and worship the Savior who continues to be present with us.
GOOD FRIDAY
JOIN US FRIDAY MARCH 29 @ 5:30PM FOR A SPECIAL GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE
Christ was arrested, tortured, rejected, crucified, and died out of his great love for us. We will consider the life-transforming love of Jesus in the stages of his Passion. We will lament and confess our need together for the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.
EASTER SUNDAY
JOIN US EASTER SUNDAY MARCH 31 @ 9:30AM TO CELEBRATE THE RESURRECTION
Where there was death, life came. Where there was only lament, hope sprung from the door of tomb. Where we were once separated from God, a way came for us to know union with God for all eternity. That’s what we celebrate on Easter. That’s our source of abundant joy.
After our Easter Service, we will take joy in the fellowship of the risen Christ in refreshments on the patio.
Each of these services give you opportunity to renew your part in the story of Jesus. They are also opportunities to encourage your pre-believing friends to join you and perhaps hear the story for the very first time.
